The original instrumentation concept of this piece is:

Part 1: Flute/Vibes/Oboe
Part 2: Oboe/Clarinet/Alto Sax/Trumpet
Part 3: Clarinet/Alto Sax/Tenor Sax/Horn
Part 4: Bassoon/Bass Clarinet/Bari Sax/Trombone/Euphonium/Tuba

However, any instrument can play any part in whichever octave is most comfortable for the player. Because of this, the music may be adaptable for younger players or more mature players alike. With this fully adaptable score collection, any size ensemble of five players or more can successfully perform this work.

Also, the specified Marimba part can also be performed on Xylophone with soft mallets.
