JENNIFER E. ROSE

Currently the band director at Wyandotte Public Schools, Jennifer E. Rose is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has been married to her husband Tim Rose, also an Oklahoma native, for 18 years and together they have two amazing children. This is Mrs. Rose’s 14th year as a music educator, all of which have been years spent in Oklahoma. Mrs. Rose holds a Master’s degree in Composition & Technology from the North Carolina School of the Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of Arkansas. Several of Jennifer’s compositions have won top honors in competitions at the University of Arkansas, the Foundation Orchestra Association, and in 2014 she was honored with two awards at Boston Metro Opera’s International Contempo Festival. Her works have been performed or recorded by several local high school ensembles, the University of Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, the University of Tulsa Concert Band, the DaCapo Chamber Players, and the Tulsa Wind Symphony.
